Over 400 chemicals and compounds have been tested for compatibility with Green Stuff Absorbent. The downloadable chart lists those that are compatible as well as the few which are not. Chemicals marked with a "C", such as Hydroflouric Acid, Hydrochloric Acid, and Sulfuric Acid are compatible with Green Stuff Absorbent. Only a very few are marked "N" for non-compatible. Note that Nitric Acid below 40% concentration is compatible, but not if it is over 40%. In that case, Nitric Acid would need to be neutralized before using Green Stuff Absorbent on the spill. Sodium Hypochlorite at 8% is compatible, but would need to be diluted with water if the concentration is higher than 8%. Commercial laundry bleaches are typically in the 4.5-6.0 % range. You may notice a llttle humor in the chart, in that we tested it on beer and whiskey, but that doesn't mean we take chemical compatibility lightly. Its a really big deal and very few if any absorbents are able to be used on such a wide range of liquids and semi-liquids.
